As well as his 'lifeless' performances for the club in recent weeks, it looks like Atletico Madrid fans have finally had enough of speculation linking Antoine Griezmann with a move away from Los Colchoneros.

Before last night's game against Real Madrid, the French striker had failed to find the net in seven appearances, but perhaps a goal against Los Blancos would give fans reason to believe that Griezmann's heart was at Atletico?

Unfortunately for Griezmann and the Atleti support, he failed to find the net once more and when the 26-year-old was dragged off in the 76th minute, a large section of fans booed him off the pitch.

Here's the moment Griezmann was replaced by fan favourite Fernando Torres. Ouch:

It seems many fans have had enough of Griezmann's passionless and lacklustre performances in the famous red and white, as speculation grows surrounding a potential move to Barcelona in the coming months.

If you didn't manage to catch Griezmann's performance against Zinedine Zidane's side on Saturday evening, here's a quick recap.

Did he really deserve to be booed off the field?

As we mentioned earlier, Griezmann has been heavily linked with a move to Barcelona in recent weeks.

Of course, Manchester United are still a possibility for Griezmann but according to French newspaper Le 10 Sport the 26 year old is very close to agreeing terms with La Liga rivals Barcelona, though the clubs are yet to negotiate.

Once he'd decided to stay in the summer the France international signed a new deal that changed his release clause to £178 million, in order to just make sure he wouldn't leave.

But the contract states that his clause will once again go back down to its initial £89 million on July 1st so Barcelona could wait until then to do the deal.

However if the Catalan side believe that the Red Devils are still interested in the forward, and are ready to match the release clause, then they could try to negotiate with their fellow Spaniards before then.

Do you think Griezmann should leave Atletico for Barcelona or Manchester United?
