At 14 Years Old, Barcelona Prodigy Xavi Simons Has A Truly Insane Lifestyle

For the majority of my days as a 14-year-old teenager, I was often found sitting on a gaming chair, quick-scoping n00bs on Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 with a can of RedBull and a packet of Quavers.

Not bad, huh?

Well, when you look at the almost dream-like journey of Barcelona wonderkid Xavi Simons, who happens to be the same age, my life as a teenager looks absolutely worthless.

And that's even with my impressive 1.82 kill/death ratio.

It has emerged that Simons, who catapulted to fame when his individual YouTube highlights went viral, has already been told that he is 'certain' to play for the first team in the coming years.

Simons also hit a remarkable one million Instagram followers this week - a feat that the majority of professional footballers fail to achieve.

He even has his own, dedicated social media team around him to post whenever he likes.

On top of that, the lad has his own logo on social media posts, which goes to show how important online presence is in the modern game.

Simons is recognised as a Nike athlete and is often snapped with the brand on Instagram

It is also known that super-agent Mino Raiola is a big fan after publicly praising Simons' talent on the pitch.

"Xavi Simons is a great player, young, with potential and a big future. We're good friends. Am I his advisor? It's better to be a friend than an advisor, believe me. Honestly, I am friends with all the players that I represent."

If you haven't seen Simons in action yet, here are some of his individual highlights on YouTube.

This lad is something else.
