AS Roma Send Classy Tweet To Mohamed Salah, He Responds Brilliantly

Just like AS Roma advertised, they've been drawn with Liverpool in the Champions League semi-final, and the Italian outfit have immediately contacted one of their former players.

Prior to the official semi-final draw, the club gave fans the chance to buy tickets for a home European game against Liverpool. A few hours later, AS Roma and Liverpool were paired.

While defending champions Real Madrid face Bayern Munich.

Once AS Roma knew Liverpool would be their next Champions League opponents, they messaged Mohamed Salah.

'The Egyptian King' signed from AS Roma, after enjoying a brilliant stint in Rome following a nightmarish spell at Chelsea in 2013 to 2015.

His performances for AS Roma prompted Jurgen Klopp to snap him up for a believed £36 million. Since returning to the Premier League, he's produced heroics, weighing in with 39 goals (!!) in all competitions.

And if he continues his prolific form in Europe, AS Roma have promised to remain friends for life.

Salah brilliantly responded.
