Aaron Ramsey Posts Picture Of His Stapled Leg Injury And Everyone Is Freaking Out

Not long after Jack Wilshere received treatment on the sideline after teammate Shkodran Mustafi smashed a diving header straight in his face, another Arsenal player went through the wars last night, but it was a tad more serious.

Five minutes before half-time, Aaron Ramsey needed medical attention when he clashed with a CSKA Moscow player.

He was eventually stretchered off, but remarkably the midfielder carried on and helped his team progress in the Europa League quarter final clash.

To say that he ran the entire length of the pitch in stoppage time to score Arsenal's second goal of the game is incredible when you witness the horrific leg injury he sustained in the first half.

Ramsey posted the following picture on Instagram shortly after the full-time whistle, saying "Thanks doc for getting me back out there."

WARNING: You might not see a more gruesome leg injury this season.

This is Ramsey’s leg. He returned to the pitch after receiving staples in his leg, and even went on to score to become the club’s highest-ever midfield goal scorer. Please can we just offer him whatever money he wants to sign a new contract and make him captain already.
