The contrast is brilliant.

There's a stark contrast between Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi's kids, and it's brilliant.

Oh My Goal have created a compilation of their kids and it makes for hilarious viewing.

On one side, you have Cristiano Ronaldo's son, Cristiano Ronaldo Jr, who's already going through his paces as a footballer, scoring stunning goals just like his dad.

In comparison to Lionel Messi's little one, Thiago, who's messing around with his siblings.

To be fair, Ronaldo Jr's hard work is paying off. He's already bagging trophies since moving to Juventus towards the end of August.

Back in September, the 8-year-old bagged four goals on his Juventus U9 debut against Lucento, while wearing the iconic number seven shirt.

It's not that long ago that his father predicted big things for Cristiano Jr's football career, saying, "Cristiano Junior is very competitive. He is like me when I was a kid. He doesn't like to lose. He will become like me, I'm 100% sure."

And now the kid is winning trophies like his dad. Is this a sign of things to come?

Ronaldo posted a 'congratulations' message on social media, as his son posed next to a trophy.

He's shown glimpses of individual brilliance throughout his time in Turin, and on this occasion, he was sporting the number 11 jersey.

Fed down the right flank, Cristiano Jr destroyed the defender by chopping back inside like his dad, before ruining the goalkeeper and slotting home with his left-foot.

All his teammates shout "Cris!" to try and get him to pass but he's not having any of it and scores a sublime solo goal anyway.

Like father, like son.
