Aaron Ramsey took to Instagram to post a lengthy, emotional message after playing his final game for Arsenal.

It's been known for some time now that the Welshman will join Juventus on a free transfer in the summer after not signing a new deal with the club.

And unfortunately the Cardiff City youth product won't get the dream farewell he would have wished for, having picked up a hamstring injury that will rule him out for the remaining games.

His last appearance in a Gunners shirt will be the 1-0 Europa League quarter-final second leg win over Napoli and though it's disappointing for the 28-year old, he is grateful for the 11-year journey he's had in North London and looks forward to the send-off after the final home game of the season on Sunday.

Ramsey joined from hometown club Cardiff as a youngster and has made 369 appearances for the club, scoring 64 goals and winning three FA Cups.

It's a four-year deal for Ramsey at Juventus, who have made him their next high-profile free transfer.

However, the Bianconeri are reportedly paying Ramsey some big bucks in terms of wages as he is poised to eclipse his fellow Welshman Gareth Bale to become the highest-paid British player, collecting a basic salary of over £400,000 per week.

As per the Daily Mail, it means Ramsey is on course to pocket at least £83.2 million in Turin.

Even though we all know the amount of money in football is crazy these days, Ramsey and his agent have still well and truly played a blinder.
