Paris Saint-Germain want to sign David De Gea and it appears they're set to offer him a mega-wage package in order to lure him away from Manchester United.

De Gea has been subject to intense transfer speculation over the years. He was on the verge of joining Real Madrid back in 2015 until a faulty fax machine prevented a transfer from happening.

He's now reportedly on the top of PSG's transfer wish-list ahead of the summer window.

What's more, reports claim the French giants will table a massive, massive offer. The super-rich club are willing to give De Gea a long-term contract worth a remarkable £450,000-a-week, per Daily Star.

The Spaniard's current deal runs out next summer which is worth £200,000-a-week. He's stalled on signing a new deal at Old Trafford with PSG prepared to offer him a lucrative contract which will see him more than double his wage.

The PSG bosses view De Gea as a long-term replacement for 41-year-old Gianluigi Buffon.

De Gea, meanwhile, has come under intense security this season after his recent performances between the sticks.

He's committed a number of errors in goal with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer backing his keeper.

"No," Solskjaer emphatically said when asked if De Gea should have been dropped.

He added: "David has been a fantastic keeper at this club, his reaction after Manchester City was good and I was confident in him. He knows he could do better with their goal but it's one of those things again.

"David has been unbelievable. We do support each other. There is no chance anyone can blame him for losing points. He knows he could have had that shot but that is football.

"David is one who likes to play games and I will have chats with him, and he will respond in the right way."
