Ex-Spurs And Chelsea Manager Andre Villas-Boas Being Lined Up European Giant

Paris Saint-Germain have made no secret about their desire to employ Jose Mourinho as manager. Though the club have reportedly lined up their second choice should they fail to land the Manchester United boss.

A bunch of high-profile managers have been linked with the PSG hot-seat. From Luis Enrique to Lee Johnson.

But it appears the Ligue 1 leaders are lining up a former Premier League coach.

According to reports via Arab News, Andre Villas-Boas has been contacted by PSG as they prepare to replace the Spaniard.

What's more, the clubs sporting director Antero Henrique is reportedly keeping tabs on Villas-Boas' return to management.

The Portuguese is fresh off leaving the Chinese Super League following his stint in charge of Shanghai SIPG. He was at the helm for over a year but departed after finishing runners-up in the league, as well as the domestic cup.

His spell in China preceded his jobs in both England and Russia.

After rising to managerial prominence with Porto, Chelsea subsequently hired him. But he has sacked less than a year in charge.

He then took over Spurs. He lasted longer than he did at West London, but also eventually left the club for Russia.
