I've not shaved for about a week and I'm quite satisfied by the progress I've made with my stubble, but then I see how strong Pisa striker Davide Moscardelli's beard game is and then I realise it's just bum fluff.
The likes of Raul Meireles, Arda Turan, Daniele De Rossi, Mile Jedinak, Joe Ledley and Adam Clayton have been viewed as the leaders as far as beards in football go, but Moscardelli is easily ahead of the pack with his Bray Wyatt-esque facial hair.
The Belgian-born Italian hasn't always had his beard but he's decided to get onboard the trend in his late 30's and the current condition is just a work of art. He looks unrecognisable without it and it's added a whole new level of suaveness.
The former Bologna man joined Pisa in the summer after being released by Arezzo and he's scored twice in the Coppa Italia this term.
Yet his biggest achievement is surely managing to eat all his chocolate croissant without getting it stuck in his big bush of a beard.

The 38-year old has also put his beard to good use by putting a subbuteo set in it for a children's charity in 2014 as part of In Barba's Christmas calendar.
