Phil Foden is living the dream right now. At just 18 years of age, he's won the League Cup, the Premier League and the Community Shield with his beloved Manchester City.

While there is an argument for him receiving more game-time, he's training and playing alongside his heroes on a weekly basis - in addition to learning from Pep Guardiola, who speaks so highly of him.

Although there was a tiny bit of speculation surrounding his future, the BBC Young Sports Personality of the Year winner has committed his future to the Premier League champions by signing a six-year contract to tie him down to 2024.

And Foden has taken to Twitter to share his delight at his contract extension, with a wonderful post featuring some brilliant throwback photos of him in City colours.

Foden is making us all feel very old, particularly when you consider the fact that he was just 11 when Sergio Aguero scored his first City goal.

The Stockport Iniesta would then assist Aguero in a thrashing of Leicester City last season, before laying on the pass for his landmark 200th goal in the Community Shield against Chelsea back in August.

Foden was handed a start in the absence of David Silva and Kevin De Bruyne and has made a total of 13 appearances this season, scoring his first goal for the club in the 3-0 Carabao Cup win over Oxford City.

He's still so young but there's every chance he goes on to achieve great things in the game.
