AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma has been the talk of the town of late after news emerged of him refusing to extend his deal at the club.
Just last year, the 18-year old outlined his intentions to put to paper on a new deal and told of how he dreamt of becoming the club's captain at some point down the line.
"I really like the idea of renewing my contract and I also like to think I will have a lasting relationship with Milan for the coming years," he said to Gazzetta dello Sport.

But four days ago, it was confirmed by Milan that Donnarumma will not be extending his contract beyond 2018 and he's received plenty of abuse, including having fake money thrown at him by his own fans during an Under 21 game yesterday.

His agent Mino Raiola also claims he's had death threats as a result of his refusal to sign a new deal.
Today, another Raiola client, and the most expensive player in football history, Paul Pogba weighed in with some thoughts on Donnarumma.
Taking to Twitter, the former Juventus man showered praise on the youngster and stressed that he will become the best goalkeeper in the world "soon".
Pogba's Tweet really blew up, garnering over 1,400 Retweets and 2,800 likes and encouraging plenty of responses related to Raiola, David De Gea and more.
