Neymar has showed off the nasty swollen ankle he suffered in the 2-0 friendly win over Qatar.
In the first half of the game the 27-year-old went over on his right ankle during a challenge and hobbled off the pitch while being helped down the tunnel by members of the Brazil medical staff.
Brazil then confirmed that the PSG superstar had ruptured his ligament and will therefore not play any part in the host nation's campaign.
"Neymar will not have the physical conditions and sufficient recovery time to participate in the Copa America Brazil 2019," Brazilian FA statement said.
And the former Barcelona has since taken to Instagram to reveal the severe swelling on the ball of his foot.
Neymar was reduced to tears after suffering the ankle injury and later left the stadium on crutches. His latest blow comes after he was stripped of the Brazil captaincy for 'disciplinary reasons' and mere months after a seperate serious injury.
The Santos youth product broke a metatarsal against Strasbourg back in January and was out of action until April, missing both games in the Champions League round of 16 against Manchester United.
After the shock defeat courtesy of a controversial VAR decision in the second leg at the Parc des Princes, Neymar reacted with an angry social media post and was given a three-game ban by UEFA.
A month later he was then given another ban, this time by French chiefs for lashing out at Rennes fan who had trolled PSG players following defeat on penalties in the Coupe de France.
