Neymar has talked up Belgium's chances of winning the 2018 World Cup, while tipping a Premier League star to make a difference in Russia.

The Paris Saint-Germain ace is in scintillating form ahead of the World Cup. He's scoring and creating goals in spectacular fashion for fun.

The 25-year-old will spearhead Brazil's charge for a sixth World Cup, next summer. Though who does he think are the favourites.

"I think the best-known teams are the favourites, as always," he said via FourFourTwo.

Among them are Brazil, Germany, France, Spain and Argentina - these teams will be the highlights in any championship.

With a side boasting the likes of Eden Hazard and Kevin De Bruyne, Neymar feels Roberto Martinez's outfit could be the surprise package.

"And for the surprise, I think Belgium has an excellent team and can be a surprise in this World Cup.

He also thinks Liverpool's Mohamed Salah can make a difference in the World Cup for Egypt.

Following their unsuccessful campaign in the 2014 World Cup on home soil, Neymar believes there's a difference between the two national teams, while gaining experience himself.

"The difference is hard to explain, but I think I'm more experienced, more wise, more 'cascudo', as we say in Brazil.

"This is because I had many experiences, I participated in a World Cup where we lost and I think I'll be more prepared for the next one, because I know what is like to be in a World Cup, I can be better prepared.

"So the Neymar in 2018 is better than the Neymar in 2014," he added.
