Kylian Mbappé Will Be ‘Much Better’ Than Cristiano Ronaldo, Win More Ballon d’Ors

He already has the inaugural Kopa Trophy to his name, but will Kylian Mbappé be able to win five Ballon d’Ors like Cristiano Ronaldo?

Kylian Mbappé could one day end up playing for Real Madrid and win more Ballon d'Ors than Cristiano Ronaldo.

That's according to former Monaco technical director Luis Campos, who was responsible for spotting the potential of the 20-year-old Frenchman and bringing him to the French club.

Like many others, he has seen the brilliance of the Paris Saint-Germain forward for both club and country and believes that his future could be at Los Blancos.

"Kylian represents champagne football, which we like to see and, as a high-level footballer, I see him wearing the Real Madrid jersey because it is a club made to his measure, where the great players want to go," he told Téléfoot (via Goal).

‏"In the future, I imagine myself attending a match at the Santiago Bernabéu and enjoying the show that Mbappé can offer.

"Nowadays, he is more decisive than Neymar and considering his age, he'll be much better than Cristiano Ronaldo. I see him winning more Ballon d'Ors."

Mbappé, who won France Football's inaugural Kopa Trophy earlier this month, showed off his incredible skills in the summer when France lifted the World Cup.

The former Monaco ace enjoyed his first season at PSG and captured a domestic treble -- Ligue 1, Coupe de France and Coupe de la Ligue -- before he made the loan deal a permanent change in the summer.

If Mbappé does move to Spain after his time with the Ligue 1 champions, then there could be the possibility of him being managed under José Mourinho someday.

United sacked the 55-year-old Portuguese manager after a poor start to the season, with the Special One being linked with a return to Madrid.

Campos worked under Mourinho as a scout, so it's hardly surprising that he was "disappointed by what happened" to him during his time at Old Trafford.

"He would have wanted to build a great project in England," he added.

"I see him as the ideal man to manage Real Madrid. He might return at some point because he is a great coach."

Will Mbappé outdo Ronaldo's Ballon d'Or wins?
