Stop us if you've heard this before, but ex-Dortmund player Götze has signed for Bayern Munich.
OK, so it's Felix Götze, younger brother of Mario, and he only ever turned out for Borussia Dortmund's U16 team, but still.
The 19-year-old officially put pen to paper on his first professional contract today, having continuously impressed in Bayern's youth teams over the last three years.

Götze operates as a centre-half and made a lasting impression on Bayern manager Carlo Ancelotti during pre-season, last summer. His performances in the U19's team led to his inclusion in Ancelotti's Champions League squad for the 2016/17 campaign.
The German teenager's new deal will keep him at the Allianz Arena until 2019 and, speaking to Die Roten's official website, Götze said, "I'm pleased to get a chance to turn professional at Bayern and will do everything to play my part in the team's continued success."
Hermann Gerland, head of the Bundesliga champions' new academy, the FC Bayern Campus, was excited about Götze committing his future to the club.

"We are very happy to tie another talented player like Felix Gotze to the club.
"He's already shown his potential training with the first team and recently in the U19 final."
Götze's older brother Mario left Dortmund for Bayern in a £37 million deal in 2013, but returned to BVB last summer after failing to make an impact during his three years in Bavaria. He is currently out of action after being diagnosed with metabolic disorder myopathy.
