A report card written by a young Marcus Rashford when he was an Under 11's player at Manchester United really does make for brilliant reading.

Dated 'September 2007', Rashford was asked to fill out several columns such as his favourite position, strengths and areas to improve as well as selecting who he thinks is the best Under 11's player.

He went for 'Dev', likely to be recently released Devonte Redmond - with Rashford writing "because he has everything a great player needs" twice as his justification.

Rashford, a boyhood United fan from Wythenshawe, made his debut for the club in memorable fashion in February, 2016 when a striker crisis meant he was afforded a start by Louis van Gaal against FC Midtjylland.

An 18-year old Rashford grasped his opportunity with both hands, scoring twice at Old Trafford in what must have been the stuff of dreams for him.

He then followed it up by bagging a brace on his Premier League debut against Arsenal days later and then went on to continue his trend of 'firsts' by netting on his first ever game for England.

Rashford has since turned out 31 times for his country, including in both the European Championships and World Cup - while he's scored 36 times for United in 142 appearances.

In April last year, he revealed a letter he penned to himself, detailing his dreams of changing his lifestyle and pulling on the red shirt.

He tweeted the following message alongside a picture of him as a youngster:
