Manchester United have reportedly entered the race to sign Alexis Sanchez.

Sanchez, 29, has been heavily linked with a move away from the Emirates with Manchester City the favourites to sign him.

City have offered £20 million for the player this month, with his Arsenal contract expiring at the end of the season.

But it appears Jose Mourinho is also keen on the player. And reports surfacing are claiming United have tabled a £25 million offer, according to the Guardian.

As well as the fee, United are prepared to offer Henrikh Mkhitaryan as makeweight. Though the Armenian winger is believed to be on £200,000-a-week which could be a stumbling block at Arsenal.
