Manchester City have unveiled plans to further renovate and modernise the Etihad Stadium.

The Blues increased their stadium capacity with the addition of a third tier at the start of last season and will look to do the same on the North Stand of the ground, taking the capacity to around 60,000.

And their next move is to revamp the Colin Bell stand, with part of the development comprising of glass players' tunnel designed for some supporters to get a glimpse of Pep Guardiola's side getting into the zone before game.

New dressing rooms, warm-up facilities and a media zone are also part of the project, which is the next step following City's £200m state-of-the-art training complex, but it is the new hospitality area - to be referred to as 'The Tunnel Club' that has caught the eye.

Images of what the space will look like have emerged online, courtesy of Manchester City.

New executive lounges overlooking the pitch are also part of the plans, while anyone who watches a game in hospitality as of next season will be able to watch post-match interviews through a glass window.

Work on the facility is set to begin imminently, with City set to temporarily use a corner service tunnel on the North stand side of the ground, starting with the visit of Burnley on January 2.

Referred to as "one of the most innovative and immersive experiences in global sports hospitality", 'The Tunnel Club' is likely to be the first of its kind in Europe and the Premier League and will see City follow a similar model to the AT&T Stadium in Dallas, home to the Dallas Cowboys.

Some Manchester City season ticket holders will have to move seats as a result of the new renovations in the Colin Bell stand.
