If you were to tip one current youngster in the ranks at Manchester City to make the grade at the Etihad, 17-year old Jadon Sancho would be one of the first names to spring to mind.
Sancho, who arrived from Watford as a 15-year old for a fee said to be in the region of £500,000, is an exciting left-sided player with a hunger for going past defenders and leaving them in his wake. He plays with a real swagger but has a level of maturity beyond his years.

Sancho completely ruined two Croatian defenders with a couple of stepovers and then a further deft touch to get into a shooting position. The finish was sublime, with the starlet perfectly curling the ball into the top corner despite the best efforts of a Croatian defender on the line.
The jewel of the club's Under 18 side that reached the FA Youth Cup final before being beaten by Chelsea for the third year running, it was reported back in March by various outlets that City were working on a bumper new contract for him following interest from that Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham, who are all keen on bringing him back down south.
Now German outlet BILD are reporting that RB Leipzig, who qualified for the Champions League next season, want to sign the teenager.

The Bundesliga side, who place emphasis on recruiting talented young players, are said to have been monitoring the situation of Sancho, and his representatives reportedly had a tour of RB's training facilities in April.
The report also mentions that Arsenal are still very much interested in Sancho, while two other Bundesliga clubs, not yet named, are also keen.

Sancho has trained with the first-team on occasion this season and it is believed that he will be one of the young players joining City's travelling party for the club's pre-season tour of the United States.
