Forget Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane, there's another speed demon in Liverpool's ranks.
On Tuesday, a Liverpool player clocked a higher speed than Paris Saint-Germain's lightning teenager Kylian Mbappe.

The French starlet reached a top speed of 32 km/h. So did buccaneering left-back Andy Robertson.
But the fastest player in the game was Virgil van Dijk who clocked an impressive top speed of 32.4 km/h.
The Dutchman cost Liverpool a cool £75 million and he's slowly becoming one of the best defenders in the world through his heroics at the back.
Liverpool's No.4 has starred in defence and he's warned his teammates from complacency.

"We have to keep working hard and stay humble. We have a tough game on Saturday with Southampton, then Chelsea and Manchester City coming up," he told Liverpool's website.
"When games come along every three days you have to be properly prepared, it's the only way forward. That and the right mindset. I want to create memories here, I want to win things with this team, and to do that we have to have belief in our ability to beat the best teams.
"If you are going to be out on the pitch and you don't believe that, then you had better stay at home.
"We were not in the Champions League final last season for no reason. We already deserve respect for what we did but in football you have to keep proving yourself because it always starts again.

Meanwhile, van Dijk's defensive partner, Joe Gomez, reached a top speed of 30.8 km/h which happens to be quicker than Sadio Mane, who recorded a speed of 30.4 km/h.
Salah also reached a top speed of 30.4 km/h.

As for the PSG camp, Neymar recorded a top speed of 31.7 km/h.
Thomas Meunier, who scored PSG's first goal, registered a top speed of 31 km/h.
Some absolute blistering players on show, we'll have to wait till November for the return group fixture.
