Liverpool fans have started a campaign on social media to rally around struggling defender Dejan Lovren by attempting to have him voted as the club's player of the month.
The 28-year-old Croatian centre-back is probably going through the hardest period in his entire career, following his substitution after just half-an-hour against Spurs 10 days ago and threats sent to his family via social media.
To compound his bad luck, Lovren was named in the Reds' starting XI for their game at home to Huddersfield on Saturday but was forced out during the final stages of the pre-match warm-up after picking up a thigh injury.

But a brief search of some Liverpool supporters on social media shows that things might soon be picking up for Lovren:
