Liverpool Fan Gets 'Instead 14' On The Back Of His Shirt After Hilarious Mishap

Liverpool Fan Gets 'Instead 14' On The Back Of His Shirt After Hilarious Mishap

No-one else will have this name and number combination on the back of their shirt this season...

A Liverpool fan accidentally ended up with a shirt that had 'Instead 14' on the back as his name and number in one of the greatest mishaps in recent times.

The unnamed Reds' fan wanted to get his son the new home shirt but got the number wrong and mistakenly asked for No.6 - coincidentally the number of European cups Liverpool have won after their latest triumph in Madrid last term.

He ordered the shirt from DHGate, a Chinese online firm and the first shirt had his kid's name on the back.

But after rectifying the error with the number, when he asked for a No.14 instead in the comments box on the order, the business took it a bit too literally and hilarity ensued.

You can guarantee that no other Liverpool fan will have that name and number combination so at least there's a uniqueness about it.

It seems like it's a pretty common thing as well, as one other fan had a similar experience and ended up getting 'X2 BPL Badges' on the back of his shirt.

Bit more adventurous than getting Salah or Mane on the back, isn't it?!
