After his brace against Spurs at Wembley in midweek, Lionel Messi has now scored 40+ goals for 10 consecutive years - well and truly raising the bar to silly levels.
The five-time Ballon d'Or winner dropped another masterclass on English soil that went beyond his two goals. He was utterly breathtaking to watch throughout, producing another complete, match-winning performance for Barcelona.
There was a time where most strikers would settle for 20-30 goals a season as it was previously viewed as a fine return, yet Messi has entered a whole new stratosphere with his numbers for club and country.
Notching at least 40 goals from 2009 onwards is just exceptional and the breakdown of his goals is simply stunning.

He's surpassed the 50 mark on several occasions - and quite frankly we're still struggling to comprehend his year of madness in 2012, when he bagged an insane 91 goals across 12 months.
Messi isn't even considered to be a striker but it's difficult to not view him as the best to have ever played the game.
