Leeds United came close to signing a Paris Saint-Germain player in the January transfer window.
However, the deal never materialised between the Championship club and the French side.
According to El Desmarque, the player in question was none other than Jesé Rodríguez.

The Spanish outlet reports that the Peacocks put up a strong battle over the move, saying that its sources told them that the club fought 'until the end' to sign the 25-year-old Spaniard.
Instead, Rodríguez ended up signing for Real Betis until the end of the season.
The PSG player played for Real Madrid from 2011 to 2016, making 63 appearances for the club and scoring on 13 occasions.

Following his time at Los Blancos, he completed a move to the reigning Ligue 1 champions.
However, he has failed to establish himself as a regular in the team, both under former PSG manager Unai Emery and current boss Thomas Tuchel.
Rodríguez has only made nine appearances for PSG and has spent time on loan at Las Palmas, Stoke City and, of course, Betis.
Should Leeds try their luck again with Rodríguez in the summer transfer window?
