Zlatan Ibrahimovic could easily be seen as a good thing, no matter how unfortunate, for many of the league's best defenders but Kurt Zouma is very supportive after his own experience.
Ibrahimovic damaged his anterior cruciate ligament last Thursday in the dying moments of the 90 minutes in the match between Manchester United and Anderlecht in the Europa League quarter final.

As the match ticked down to extra time Ibra chased a long ball and brought it down out of the air but as he landed his leg clearly and painfully over extended and it looked worrying almost instantly.
After the game we found out it was an ACL injury and thus the big Swede will be out for around nine months, at 35 and with his contract running out at the end of the season here's not guarantee he'll be at Old Trafford next season.

That might bring muted joy to some centre backs, after Zlatan bagged 17 goal in his first season in England, but Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma send a message of support to the United front man:
Zouma injured himself last year in a very similar fashion and in fact the angle that both their legs bent back was eerily similar. The Frenchman was out for around eight months himself and only returned half way through this season.
United coped without Ibrahimovic on their first outing since their top scorer injured himself when they beat Burnley 2-0 at Turf Moor on the weekend, Wayne Rooney and Anthony Martial scoring their goals.

The players quite embarrassingly copied their Manchester City counterparts by wearing shirts with Zlatan and Marcos Rojo's names on them, Rojo picked up a similar injury in the same match, like the City players had done with Ilkay Gundogan earlier in the season.

Zlatan has had a brilliant career and one hope it doesn't just fizzle out because of this injury!
