Toni Kroos will not be leaving Real Madrid any time soon after he took to Twitter to call out rumours surrounding a summer exit.

Diario AS' Mario Cortegan wrote on Friday that the 29-year-old German midfielder was ready to quit the club, with the report suggesting that his poor performances this season have led to 'unprecedented levels of criticism.'

The Spanish newspaper's reporter went on to say that the former Bayern Munich star's departure from the club would allow Los Blancos to free up their wages -- that's not to mention the transfer fee they would pocket for him.

Well, it looks like Kroos has no intention of exiting the Santiago Bernabéu at the end of the season and took to Twitter to dismiss the report as "Absolutely false information."

Oh, boy. The Madrid star is not messing around here.

While Los Blancos have had a disappointing season, the return of Zinedine Zidane at the helm of the managerial post will no doubt keep many of Madrid's star players at the club for the following campaign.

In fact, the Spanish club are keen to overhaul the existing squad and once again challenge for the La Liga title and the Champions League crown.

Madrid have already squashed speculation that Raphaël Varane would leave the club in the summer -- unless a club meets his outrageous release clause -- while the club have also been heavily linked with a move for Chelsea's Eden Hazard.
