Back in my day you could buy a replica shirt with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's name on the back for the reasonable price of twenty quid. Now, you're expected to pay an absolute fortune.

In fact, UEFA's The European Club Footballing Landscap have backed up my statement by producing a report based on the most expensive jerseys on the European market.

To the surprise of many, supporters of the Swiss Super League side BSC Young Boys are expected to pay a whopping €102 for a replica shirt - the most costly in Europe.

Fans of Bundesliga side Schalke and Bayern are expected to pay a hefty €90 for a replica shirt, with the average shirt price in the German league coming in at €80.

The most expensive shirt in Serie A belongs to Juventus, Milan and Benevento, while the average shirt price is around €79.

Manchester United's biggest flops in years gone by...

In terms of the Premier League prices, you'll have to pay big bucks for both Manchester club shirts at €76 while Burnley's replica shirts are on the market for an average of €59, according to the report.
