Just days after Manchester United released their stunning home kit for 2019/20, a picture of what appeared to be their new away shirt was leaked online.

United's home kit for next season is inspired around their famous Champions League treble winning campaign.

The shape of the badge, along with its black and gold trim, is similar to what the club sported in Europe during that famous season in '99.

More features include the minutes of when Teddy Sheringham and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer scored those injury-time goals against Bayern Munich in the final.

The dates of all three title wins are also displayed at the bottom of every shirt.

The ever-reliable FootyHeadlines posted images of the snake skin-like effect away jersey.

It mixes colours used on early United kits, according to the website, with "the latest trends in fashion and streetwear."

The shirt has so far received a mixed response from supporters, and now there's a new update from @pjimenez71.

The classic Adidas black crew-neck is certainly a postive, with the classic black shoulder lines adding to the detail.

It is not yet known what colour the shorts and socks will be.

In terms of the home kit, Manchester United's official website confirmed that it will be worn for the first time later this month:

"The new home kit will be worn for the first time on the pitch in the Treble Reunion match at Old Trafford on Sunday 26 May." it reads.

"The first team will then wear it in Perth on Wednesday 17 July, during the second game of Tour 2019 against Leeds United.
