He's played with a lot of good footballers in his time but Joe Cole has revealed the very best player he's played with.

From sharing the same dressing room as England's 'Golden Generation' like Steven Gerrard, Frank Lampard, John Terry and Rio Ferdinand to Arjen Robben, who he's identified as a special talent.

But, forget Lampard, Terry and Robben as Cole has named Eden Hazard as the best he's played with.

"You look at all the English boys - Gerrard, Frank [Lampard], JT [John Terry], Rooney, Rio [Ferdinand]," he said.

"Also the foreign players like [Arjen] Robben and Hazard. I could go on forever. You realise you're playing with geniuses.

"If my life depended on it I would pick Hazard [as the best]. He was 19 when I played with him in France and even then he was just so talented.

"He had everything. He's just a great player. I think he'll go on to win the Ballon d'Or, I really think he's that good."

Cole and Hazard were teammates in France at Lille. The attacking maestro completed a switch to Stamford Bridge in 2012, and he's produced.

Not to mention delivering the goods at the World Cup as Belgium enjoyed their best ever finish - 3rd place.

What's more, Cole even laid out the ground work for Chelsea to land Hazard.

"I spoke to him before I signed for Chelsea. Every day, seriously, he was telling me that Chelsea was the best club for me. He said Chelsea was a big club where you can win trophies every season. For that reason I signed, so thank you, Joe Cole," the Belgium star said.
