Manchester United new boy Daniel James capped a brilliant couple of days by signing a new endorsement deal with Adidas.

The Welsh winger signed from Swansea City for £15 million in the summer transfer window, and he scored on his full debut.

He rounded off United's victory on Sunday with a goal in the 81st minute.

He's now signed a sponsorship deal with Adidas to complete a "brilliant couple of days".

James took to social media to share the incredible news.

"Delighted to sign with Adidas. It's been a brilliant couple of day," he wrote on social media accompanied with a picture of himself signing his contract.

The 21-year-old needed just seven minutes to open his United goal-scoring account and he dedicated his strike to his late father.

"It would have been amazing for him to be here today, but he's not, and I dedicate that goal to him." he said.

"I scored the winning penalty in Cardiff last week, which was amazing, to be in Wales as well. To score on my debut here, you couldn't write it.

"They definitely are [proud]." he added. "I didn't know where they were in the crowd, I was trying to find them but it's hard to find them in front of this many fans.

"For them and for me, you just couldn't write it. To be here and to play is an honour for me."

James also revealed what manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer told him before entering the fray.

"'He just said go out, go and enjoy it, we're 3-0 up, so just go and do what you've been doing in pre-season, work hard and you'll get your opportunities."

Will James feature for United when they travel to Wolves on Monday?
