Real Madrid ran out 4-2 winners over Leganes in La Liga last night, with goals from James Rodriguez and Alvaro Morata clinching an important away win.

And though the result meant that Real remain top of the table going into the Madrid derby next week, meaning it was a good night's work for Zidane's men, James Rodriguez was not happy despite the victory.

The Colombian was substituted with just under 20 minutes remaining and was absolutely furious with the decision and was visibly angry as he left the field.

Check out Rodriguez's reaction to being brought off in the following clip:

The former Monaco man is said to have muttered some expletives at Zidane after seeing his number on the fourth official's board before he punched the wall of the dugout as he took his seat on the bench.

As per Deportes Cuatro, Rodriguez said something along the lines of "Motherf****r! You never give me a full game!".

He's clearly been unhappy with the amount of game-time he is receiving on the whole this season and his frustration was taken to the next level after failing to complete 90 minutes yet again last night.

Zinedine Zidane was asked about Rodriguez's reaction to being taken off after the game and understood his frustration.

He said:

"I have not spoken with him, it is normal that a player wants to play the full 90 minutes.

"These are things that happen and that's it. He played well and I am pleased with that."

"I don't have anything against James, quite the opposite.

"It is true that he isn't on the pitch as much, but he is offensive and works hard."

Insulting Zinedine Zidane isn't always a wise move, as Marco Materazzi found out in the World Cup final.

It will be interesting to see what sort of role Rodriguez will play in the upcoming Madrid derby and also whether or not he will remain at the Bernabeu when the summer window rolls around.

There have been a whole host of rumours surrounding his future and he has been linked with a number of moves away.
