If you were to ask to guess the top assist maker in the Champions League this season, you might be thinking it would be Neymar, Lionel Messi or someone of that ilk.
Nope, it is in fact the one and only James Milner. The Liverpool No.7 has made five appearances in Europe's premier competition this season, with three of those coming from the start.

The former England international has been in and out of the side this season but has been producing the goods in Europe whenever called upon, and did so again last night in the Champions League round of 16.
Milner played the full 90 minutes as Liverpool romped to a 5-0 rout over Porto away from home, with Jurgen Klopp's side basically through to the quarter finals.
The 32-year old set up Roberto Firmino for the fourth goal in the drubbing, registering his sixth assist in the Champions League this season.
Firmino and Alberto Moreno, along with the likes of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe, have three Champions League assists to their name this season, while Kevin De Bruyne and Dele Alli have chipped in with four for Manchester City and Spurs respectively.
But as per ESPN, it is Milner who tops the charts, two ahead of anyone else. Fans have been reacting in brilliant fashion to that stat:
