Jadon Sancho celebrated his call-up to the national team in the only way he knows how to: registering another assist for Borussia Dortmund.

The former Manchester City youngster earned his first Bundesliga start this afternoon and made the most of it by setting up Paco Alcacer with his ninth assist in all competitions this season and his eleventh in 2018 on the whole.

He was fed on the right flank and whipped up an inch-perfect cross for Alcacer to level matters with the first of his hat-trick in the thrilling 4-3 win over Augsburg.

Sancho had to make do with a 'super sub' role in his previous 317 minutes of Bundesliga action but his contributions were so monumental that Lucien Favre simply had to start him.

Having turned the game against Leverkusen with two assists against Bayer Leverkusen last week, he was rewarded with a start against Monaco in the Champions League.

He added another assist for his collection then, before replicating the heroics for the second game running at the Signal Iduna Park.

England fans will now be desperate to see the 18-year old trickster strut his stuff on the international stage after he became the first player from this millenium to be named in Gareth Southgate's squad.

Commenting on the decision to draft Sancho into the side for UEFA Nations League games against Croatia and Spain, Southgate said:

"Jadon's is an unusual story. He has been brave enough to go and play abroad and has started two Champions League games for Dortmund and has also had a big impact from the bench in their league games."

The lad has the potential to be something special so here's hoping he see him in action next week.
