"Boom... we have ignition," he appeared to say while hilariously crackling as Rakitic wheeled away in celebration.

His stunning strike made it 2-0 at the time. Harry Kane then reduced the deficit though Lionel Messi restored Barcelona's two-goal advantage.

Erik Lamela pulled another back before Messi doubled his personal tally with a tidy finish from inside the box to secure all three points.

Despite Rakitic scoring one of the goals of the season, Messi's heroics was the talk of the game.
