He is currently ineligible for a Ligue One winners' medal as it stands.

Hatem Ben Arfa has yet to play a single minute of Paris Saint-Germain's Ligue One winning campaign and the club's supporters have started a trend to try and change that.

The former Newcastle United man has recently celebrated one year of not playing for the Parisians, with Unai Emery clearly not high on him.

Already confirmed to be leaving the French capital, a plethora of PSG supporters have got the hashtag '#HatemChampion' as the No.1 trend on France in an attempt to get Emery to play him for just one minute so he gets a winners' medal.

The response on social media has been nothing short of overwhelming:

A fan favourite at Newcastle United, his time there ultimately ended on a sour note when he was released in January 2015 after an underwhelming loan at Hull City.

He rebuilt his career back in France with Nice, netting 18 goals in a single season playing under Leicester City boss Claude Puel and earning that big money move to PSG in July 2016.

But despite a promising start, Ben Arfa was never really fancied and his career has continued to embark on a downwards spiral.

Where should his next move be?
