Top-tier trolling..

Watford's mascot 'Harry the Hornet' seems to be public enemy number one for Crystal Palace fans and he made their blood boil even more today.

Going into the game, Palace boss Roy Hodgson ripped into the mascot following his trolling of Wilfried Zaha during a 2016 Boxing Day clash. The Ivory Coast international had been booked for simulation during the game and the mascot rubbed salt in the wounds by diving in front of him after the game.

It annoyed Zaha at the time, though he later saw the funny side and tweeted the mascot with some judges holding up scorecards.

Hodgson wasn't even manager at the time but he seemed to get very riled up talking about it in his pre-match press conference.

"If you're asking me whether Harry the Hornet, who I presume is the mascot, should dive in that way, I think it's disgraceful, because that's not what football matches are about," he said, as per the BBC.

"And certainly if it's provoking the crowd into looking for something that's not there, it should be stopped."

Today, 'Harry', received a predictably angry reception from the visiting supporters in today's 1:30 kick-off but played up to it perfectly by performing the Conor McGregor 'Billy Strut' in front of them.

Then, after Watford maintained their perfect start to the season with a 2-1 victory at Vicarage Road, he imitated that Zaha dive to the delight of the home fans - and no doubt the dismay of Hodgson.
