Antoine Griezmann has reacted to France's incredibly dull World Cup encounter against Denmark in brutally honest fashion.

Denmark vs. France played out for the first 0-0 of the 2018 World Cup. And it was f***ing boring. Literally nothing to report on the Group C game.

Both sides picked up a point, and advance to the knockout round. France as Group winners and Denmark as runners-up.

And following the match, Griezmann gave a frank assessment of the World Cup fixture.

He said: "I am used to playing this way with my club. It is true that it was not very nice to watch. I am sorry for people.

"In the second half, Denmark wanted to sure up a draw. We weren't about to go and tire ourselves by pressing them. Both teams were qualified, nothing else needed to be done."

Olivier Giroud, who spearheaded France's attack, also chipped in with his thoughts.

"This was a very frustrating match for everyone. For us, for those watching."

Denmark vs. France got social media talking. And it's not positive:
