A goalkeeper in Portugal was shown a red card after producing one of the worst challenges you will ever see.
In Portimonense's 2-1 win over Vitoria Guimaraes, the hosts had striker Fabricio stretchered off in the first half after he was taken out in sickening fashion by goalkeeper Douglas.
WARNING: The following footage is not for the squeamish:
In the 30th minute, Fabricio looked to latch on to a through ball in behind.

Douglas charged out of his goal in an attempt to clear the ball but horribly mistimed his clearance and ended up his foot into the striker's lower stomach/groin area, as well as his studs sinking into Fabricio's thigh - leaving him with a hole in his leg.

Fabricio was then immediately stretchered off and will have had that horror injury attended to. We're guessing that his leg will likely be in a similar state to what Aaron Mooy's was in around a month ago.
The Australian was stretchered off in the 76th minute in the 4-1 win over Bournemouth, and though he's since returned to action as the injury wasn't too severe, he shared a nasty picture of the aftermath on social media.
Ouch!
