Journalist Informs Olivier Giroud That 'My Mum Thinks You're Sexy' In Mixed Zone

This is slightly bizarre...

A journalist told Olivier Giroud that their 'mum thinks you're sexy', according to the Daily Mail's Mike Keegan.

If that's not the best comment and tweet ever, we don't know what is.

Arsenal played against Western Sydney Wanderers at the ANZ Stadium earlier today, coming out as 3-1 winners thanks to goals from Aaron Ramsey, Mohamed Elneny and Olivier Giroud.

And as Giroud was quizzed by journalists after the game, he was told that one reporter's mum finds him sexy:

We'd just love it if someone filmed Giroud's reaction to the question.

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like anyone did and the reporter who asked the question hasn't had his/her identity revealed.

But we wish we knew who it was - that's instant legendary status for a comment like that.

Arsenal were just after playing their final game of an early Australia tour and they'll now fly to Shanghai to play against Bayern Munich on Wednesday.

We imagine Giroud will be in a confident mood for the rest of the season after these cracking comments.

Giroud actually scored in Arsenal's 3-1 win over Western Sydney Wanderers this afternoon and was the talk of social media following the game, but fans weren't talking about his goal.

Instead, the French striker was criticised after 'ignoring his new teammate' Alexandre Lacazette after he scored the goal.

Does he ignore the approaches of Lacazette here?

Was Giroud just wheeling away in celebration or did he really snub Lacazette?
