In the past two days, Chelsea's latest signing Olivier Giroud has watched two defeats from two different substitute benches. Now that's an impressive record.

If you didn't catch the game. three second-half goals in 16 minutes from Callum Wilson, Junior Stanislas and former player Nathan Ake gave Bournemouth a shock victory at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night.

Giroud looked on from the sidelines as Conte was pictured a frustrated figure throughout.

The fact that Chelsea have only lost by a three goal margin at Stamford Bridge seven times in the Premier League era says it all really.

Eddie Howe's side deserved their win, but everyone was talking about Giroud during the game.

As we mentioned earlier, £18 million signing Olivier Giroud has watched two defeats from two different substitute benches in the past two days.

He witnessed Swansea knock three past Arsenal on Tuesday night and less than 24 hours later, the French striker watched Bournemouth defeat his new club at Stamford Bridge.

Twitter picked up on the fact that Giroud lost two games in two days, with many taking the piss ever so slightly:

Thoughts on Giroud's move to Chelsea on transfer deadline day? Will he be a success at Stamford Bridge? Should Conte have snapped up Crouch instead?
