He is based in Heswall, Wirral, and is a member of the Cheshire County Football Association.
That's all fine and dandy but they fail to mention that he's the greatest showman the world has even seen, and his antics in Manchester City's 6-0 thumping of Chelsea are proof of that huge statement.
Dean was his dramatic self throughout but one moment in particular captured people's attention.
The 50-year-old awarded a penalty after Cesar Azpilicueta fouled Raheem Sterling inside the box and in typical fashion, he pointed to the spot with a Grease Lightning style pose.

"This is a bit of Sunday night fever for you," Jamie Redknapp hilariously said on Sky Sports.
And it didn't take long for the internet to make Dean into a legendary meme.

The man in the black eventually handed the ball to the prolific Argentine striker after stuffing it under his top.
Never change, Mike.
