AFC Fylde's stadium announcer was the victim of a classic prank on Tuesday night when he was asked to read out the number plate of a white Nissan MIcra.
In a cunning act reminiscent of Mo's Tavern in The Simpsons, three young Fylde supporters decided to go up and ask the announcer to call out the plate 'NE14 ABJ''.

They apparently wanted the car to be moved but unbeknownst to the announcer, he was made to look an idiot in their 4-1 win over Ramsbottom at Mill Farm.
To be fair, the Vanarama National League side got involved with the banter on Twitter, posting the below tweets in a cracking thread.

It turns out @jaksaunders13 and his two mates actually filmed the entire thing. You can hear them chuckling in the background and it's priceless.

AFC Fylde went on to win the FA Trophy tie thanks to goals from Daniel Lucas Rowe (2), Jordan Tunnicliffe and Serhat Tasdemir but this moment involving the fake white Nissan Micra grabbed the headlines.
