EA Sports have announced a host of new updates ahead of the upcoming release of FIFA 20.
From the highly anticipated VOLTA game mode to brand new dribbling methods and controlled tackling, the game is set to packed with new features when the game drops on September 27th, 2019.
In more recent news, EA have shared details of this year's updates for Pro Clubs, a much-loved game mode that allows you to play with your very own virtual character.
According to those who make the game, FIFA Pro Clubs is a "true representation of online football".
But from my personal experiences, the most enjoyable aspect of this popular game mode is customising your virtual character with unrealistic hair styles and funny names.
EA Sports have clearly listened to the community, offering increased customization for your Pro in this year's release.
On the website's Pitch Notes section, they have dived into some of this year's changes.
"Creating your Virtual Pro is a huge part of the Pro Clubs experience, and we know how important it is for you to have as many options as possible when it comes to customizing and controlling your pros in the game." they say.
"For FIFA 20, we are introducing a new Avatar system that replaces player creation across the entire game - including Pro Clubs.
"This feature will bring new ways to design your Virtual Pro's visual characteristics via an improved 4 quadrant axis morphing tool which not only allows you to morph and define each facial feature to your liking, but to also go further than ever with added morphing options and skin tones."
EA have also added the following positions to Pro Clubs after feedback from the community, giving you "more control of the way you develop your game on the pitch."
These newly added positions are also accompanied by a revitalized player progression system within FIFA 20, where choosing between different positions, heights and weights will now have a deeper impact on how your Virtual Pro moves and feels, with these choices affecting all of your Pro's physical attributes.
Stamina has also been reviewed, and we've tuned the values to create a risk vs reward system - if you invest in stamina and pace, you will sacrifice other attributes for your pro.
