Peter Crouch is a busy man when he's not lacing up his boots for Stoke City.

The 37-year-old former England international has been to the cinema to watch Bradley Cooper's recently released A Star Is Born.

It's the first film directed by the American Sniper actor, who co-stars alongside Lady Gaga, Dave Chappelle and Andrew Dice Clay.

Based on the 1937 film, the remake follows the story of famed musician Jackson Maine (Cooper) and his relationship with fellow artist Ally (Gaga).

The former Liverpool striker loved the film, according to a tweet he posted. However, Crouch couldn't resist the opportunity to hilariously troll Lady Gaga.

Check it out below.

You can always rely on Crouch to deliver top-notch banter.

Well played, sir!

Last month, Crouchie revealed a brilliant story of how Cristiano Ronaldo reacted to Manchester United players teasing him about Lionel Messi.

That's not all, though, as he shared another amusing tale of when he was at Liverpool alongside former teammate Xabi Alonso.

"On signing for Liverpool, I stayed at the Hope Street Hotel," Crouch said.

"On reception was a girl so good-looking I couldn't quite believe she was smiling at me all the time.

"I told the lads in training. 'Honestly, she's beautiful. I think I've got a shout here.'

"Jamie Carragher called a few other senior players over. 'Tell them again, Crouchie.' So I did. 'She's all over me. I'm on fire.'

"Carra again, all interest. 'What does she look like?'

"'Amazing. Dark-haired. Spanish-looking. I'm in there.' It turned out she was Xabi Alonso's partner. She was doing a bit of work to practise her language skills.

"He was nice about it. So was she. Carra less so."
