With Tottenham holding out for crucial draw with Real Madrid at the Bernabeu on Tuesday night, their fans took the opportunity to taunt London rivals Arsenal.

Arsenal didn't qualify for this season's Champions League after finishing outside the top four last term - the first time the Gunners have failed to do so in Arsene Wenger's 21-year reign.

So, with Arsenal having to make do with Europa League football on Thursday nights, Spurs fans jumped at the chance to brutally troll the Emirates faithful after Tuesday's game - with a cheeky Emmerdale reference.

The long-running British soap opera is of course shown on Tuesday and Wednesday nights - the time slot most Arsenal fans would be hoping to fill with watching their team against Europe's finest.

Spurs supporters can be heard singing, "Tottenham at the Bernabeu... Arsenal watching Emmerdale":

Arsenal are away to Serbian giants Red Star Belgrade in the Europa League this evening, with Wenger's side sitting comfortable at the top of Group H following victories against BATE Borisov and FC Koln.
