ORIGINAL STORY: Mario Balotelli planned to up his shenanigans during the Paris Saint-Germain and Marseille clash after rumours suggest that he had a T-shirt with Marcus Rashford's face on as part of his celebration if he had scored.

Oh, yes. If there were ever one footballer that would do such a thing, it would be the former Manchester City and Inter Milan star.

According to Canal+'s Olivier Tallaron, the 28-year-old Italian striker had the celebration planned and would no doubt be grabbing all of the major headlines if he had pulled this one off.

Ironically, the fact that he had the celebration planned has still placed him at the centre of attention.

Of course, the Manchester United forward was responsible for knocking PSG out of the Champions League earlier this month, mainly for how he buried his first penalty for the Red Devils past Gianluigi Buffon.

Just imagine the scenes if Balotelli had pulled this one off at the Parc des Princes against the French side.

The Italy international has upped his creative celebrations this month. In one case, the former Liverpool player scored against Saint-Étienne with an overhead kick and decided to celebrate via an Instagram Live video.

Following on from that, Balotelli was up to his old tricks when he found the back of the net against former side Nice and played rock, paper, scissors with teammate Florian Thauvin.

Unfortunately for Balotelli, Thomas Tuchel's men had the last laugh on this occasion as they picked up a 3-1 win against Marseille.

Kylian Mbappé opened the scoring in the match and the PSG star's new celebration had fans talking about it on social media.

Valère Germain fired back for Rudi Garcia's men, but Ángel Di María scored a second-half brace to seal all three points for the reigning Ligue 1 champions.

Marseille ended the match with ten men after Steve Mandanda was sent off.

Do you think Balotelli had the Rashford celebration planned, or do you think it is a rumour?
