Toni Kroos has come under some rather bizarre criticism from former Real Madrid boss Bernd Schuster but he doesn't really seem bothered by it in the slightest.
After Real lost 3-0 at home to Barcelona in the Copa Del Rey semi-final second leg, Schuster, who played for both clubs, called Kroos "a Diesel Tractor" in his analysis for El Transistor after the game.
And despite Schuster being a fellow German with strong ties to Real, Kroos seemingly doesn't know who he is judging by his reaction on Twitter.
Raphael Varane, scorer of an own goal in the dismal showing against Barca, was also criticised by Schuster, who lifted La Liga with Los Blancos in 2007/08.

He said: "'He's a shadow of what he was, He was always badly positioned."
It's a good job Schuster isn't still employed by Real in some capacity because they'd have probably got rid of him as a result of the opinions he expressed.
As per MARCA, that's exactly the fate youth coach Alvaro Benito has suffered after he gave some strong comments on the defeat to Barca.

Benito, who won one La Liga title with Real during his time as a player there, said neither Casemiro and Kroos should not be in the side.
And ultimately, his comments have cost him his job as the Juvenil B side manager despite the team being second in their league, one point off rivals Atletico with a game to spare.
With the Real hierarchy unhappy with what he had to say on TV, he's been relieved of duties and immediately replaced by Real legend Raul Gonzalez, who has been promoted from his position as Cadete B boss.
