Madrid pulled one back through Marcelo, but it proved to be in vain for Lopetegui.
Madrid are fifth in La Liga after their opening nine matches and have four wins, two draws and three losses.

There will be even more pressure placed on the Madrid
boss after the loss, with reports suggesting that the 52-year-old could be
sacked if he fails to pick up a result against Barcelona in El Clásico later
this month.
