Is N'Golo Kanté the nicest man in football? Yes. Is he the most humble man in history? The answer would probably be yes as well.

It's no surprise that the Frenchman is one of the most commanding midfielders in football at the moment, but could you imagine meeting the Chelsea footballer in person and inviting him over for dinner?

Well, that's exactly what one person did - and, of course, Kanté accepted the offer.

Twitter user AbzzyRahman shared an image of the World Cup winner coming over for a meal after claiming that one of his friend's younger brother met him at the mosque.

"When your friend's younger brother meets Kanté in the mosque for evening prayers and invites him over for dinner," he tweeted.

"What a humble person Kanté is."

Twitter user @jahrul999 also had the pleasure of spending the evening with Kante and showered him with praise on social media:

Kanté enjoyed a successful World Cup campaign with France in the summer and has since continued that form under new Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri.

The Blues have won their opening five matches of the Premier League season and are top of the table on goal difference.

Sarri's side took on Cardiff City on Saturday and produced a stunning performance, beating the Welsh team 4-1 and Eden Hazard bagging a hat-trick.

Of course, Kanté played the full 90 minutes for Chelsea in the match.

What a top bloke Kanté is.
