Vancouver’s Ali Adnan Takes One Of The Worst Ever Panenka Penalties

Ali Adnan produced one of the worst ever panenka penalties in the MLS on Friday.

The wing-back had the perfect chance to give Vancouver Whitecaps an early lead against LA Galaxy after his side were awarded a penalty in the very first minute.

But he fluffed his lines from the spot after attempting a cheeky panenka penalty.

His tame effort was eventually saved by Galaxy's keeper.

Here's Zlatan Ibrahimovic converting a superb panenka penalty in Galaxy's 2-1 victory over Portland Timbers earlier in the week.

Galaxy then poked fun of Adnan's woeful penalty by posting a savage message on Twitter.

His mistake proved very, very costly as LA Galaxy secured all three points with Daniel Steres and Ibrahimovic both scoring in the second-half.
